Materials from the April 11th Mesophotic and Deep Benthic Communities Restoration Webinar Available Now

The Open Ocean Trustee Implementation Group held an interactive webinar on April 11, 2023 to share information about four projects working to restore Mesophotic and Deep Benthic Communities injured by the Deepwater Horizon oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. There were more than 160 people in attendance. 

Project managers and subject matter experts from NOAA and the Department of the Interior U.S. Geological Survey provided overviews of project accomplishments from the 2022 field season and the activities planned for 2023. They also answered questions and provided information about how to access project data and reports.
