October 28 Webinar: Open Ocean Annual Meeting, plus Mesophotic and Deep Benthic Communities Special Session

The Open Ocean Trustee Implementation Group will hold its annual public meeting via an interactive webinar on October 28, 2021. The webinar is open to everyone; we encourage your attendance and participation.

The annual meeting will begin at 12:00 p.m. CT and include updates on the Open Ocean Restoration Area’s projects and monitoring and adaptive management activities. We’ll also provide an opportunity for questions and answers after the updates are presented.

Following the annual meeting, join us for a deeper dive into the Mesophotic and Deep Benthic Communities restoration projects. This special session will begin at 1:00 p.m. CT and includes an opportunity for questions and answers following project presentations.

​​On the registration page, you’ll see two fields to submit questions to the trustees, one for each portion of the webinar. If you’d like to ask questions, please consider sending yours ahead of time.After registering, you will receive a confirmation email with information on how to join.

We recommend doing a GoToWebinar system check before attending. Following the meeting, we will post the webinar presentations on the Gulf Spill Restoration website, available through the Open Ocean Restoration Area page.
