Texas Trustees Holding Annual Public Meeting on February 25, 2026

The Deepwater HorizonTexas Trustee Implementation Group is hosting its annual public meeting on Wednesday, February 25, 2026. The Trustees will discuss progress and plans for restoring the natural resources injured by the Deepwater Horizon oil spill in the Texas Restoration Area. There will be a short overview presentation followed by an open house where members of the community can have conversations with the Trustees.  

The Texas Trustee’s public meeting will begin immediately following the conclusion of the State of the Bay Symposium. There is no cost to attend the Texas Trustees’ Public Meeting.

The Texas Trustee Implementation Group is composed of representatives from the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, Texas General Land Office, Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, U.S. Department of the Interior, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, and U.S. Department of Agriculture. The Trustees will be available for those interested in asking questions or discussing the meeting topics further.
